you choose is ultimately responsible for the warranty. Once you
select a shop, give them a call so they can schedule your vehicle
for repairs as soon as possible. With the DRP programs, work
can begin immediately with an internet assignment from your
insurance company! That means a faster turnaround time! And
the repairs are guaranteed for as long as you own the vehicle.
Repair Shop Selection
Before a repair shop is selected to take part in a Direct Repair
Program, it is evaluated by the insurance company in order to
guarantee you get the top quality repair you deserve. The auto
body repair shop must meet strict criteria for necessary
equipment, training, licensing and management. In addition,
random inspections are conducted by insurance companies on
work performed by direct repair facilities to make sure that repairs
are being completed properly.
